Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that the police authorities of Chinsurah Police Station are not informing the status in respect of the husband of the petitioner namely, one Ramakanta Mouri. Police authorities have claimed that a report had been sent to the Staff and Welfare Inspector, Senior Divisional Personnel Officer, DRM building, Eastern Railway, Howrah that the petitioner's missing husband did not return back to his native house.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that no family pension is being received.

In view of the same, the police authorities are directed to handover a copy of the status report to the petitioner in case such an application is

advanced to the Inspector-in-Charge of Chinsurah Police Station.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 15742 of 2025 is disposed of.
