The main grievance of the petitioner is against respondent no.6. The description of respondent no.6 as per causetitle of the petition is "The Manager, Hindalco Industries Ltd. Muri, Post Office - Chota Muri, District - Ranchi, Jharkhand, Pin - 834001".

The prayer is to stop respondent no.6 from releasing harmful chemical and acid type substance continuously from factory outlet.

The factory, as address suggests, is situated in the State of Jharkhand. Thus, no cause of action has arisen within the territory of Calcutta High Court. 5.

The writ petition / PIL is dismissed by reserving liberty to the petitioner to approach appropriate forum.
