The petitioner is aggrieved by the progress of the trial. In find that the case was registered in the month of October, 2020 and already charge has been framed by the trial court.

Having regard to the period of time within which charge has been framed, I am of the opinion that there has been a smooth progress of the case compared to other cases. As schedule has already been fixed by the trail court for recording evidence, I direct the learned trial court to take efforts for concluding the trial within a reasonable period of time without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties. Learned court is further directed that in case the date is fixed for recording evidence of a

particular witness, the same must be fixed after the learned public prosecutor conducting the case assures the court regarding the availability of the witness.

With the aforesaid observations, CRR 2114 of 2021 is disposed of.
