1. In view of the innocuous nature of the prayer, no prior service of notice on the opposite party is being directed.

2. The petitioner is an octogenarian and, as a landlord, filed the present suit for eviction long back in the year 2012. The matter has crossed the stage of adjudication of applications under Sections 7(1) and 7(2) of the West Bengal Premises Tenancy Act, 1997, and commission work is now going pursuant to an interlocutory order passed in the suit.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner, on query of court, submits that no further interlocutory application is pending.

4. Keeping in view the advanced years of the petitioner and the long pendency of the suit, C. O. No. 2314 of 2024 is disposed of

by requesting the learned Civil Judge (Junior Division) at Bidhannagar, North 24 Parganas, to dispose of Ejectment Suit No.

66 of 2012, pending before the said court, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within the month of December, 2025.

5. There will be no order as to costs.

6. The parties and all concerned shall act on the server copy of this order for the purpose of compliance without insisting upon prior production of the certified copy thereof.
