Despite service, none appears on behalf of the private respondent no. 5, although the other parties are represented through counsel in court today.

The grievance of the petitioners is that the private respondent has obtained an electric connection of a commercial nature over the undivided common property of the petitioners.

Despite having applied to the authorities, the Assistant Engineer and Station Manager, Khanakaul Customer Care Centre, WBSEDCL, intimated that the electric connection was given in accordance with law, since there was no objection at that point of time. However, against such decision, the petitioners have moved the respondent no. 3 for the purpose of redressal of the petitioners'

grievance.

Such

representation is annexed at page - 23 of the writ petition.

In view of the above submissions of the parties, WPA No. 16988 of 2021 is disposed of by directing the Divisional Manager, Arambagh, WBSEDCL, being respondent no. 3 herein, to dispose of the representation given by the writ petitioners, annexed at page - 23 of the instant writ petition, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within four weeks from date, upon giving an opportunity of hearing to all the concerned parties in accordance with law.

There will be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
