The instant application is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure praying for quashing of the proceeding being G.R. Case No. 1817 of 2002 arising out of Nimta Police Station Case No. 52 of 2002 dated 14.07.2002 under Section 498A/406 of the Indian Penal Code pending before the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Barrackpore.

On perusal of the application, the impugned Order and other materials on record, it appears that exercise of jurisdiction under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure is unwarranted.

Accordingly, the instant revisional application along with CRAN 1 of 2012 (Old CRAN 674 of 2012) stand dismissed.
