Mukherjee ...for the respondent no.7 The Baranagar Police Station, Barrackpore Police Commissionerate has filed a report dated September 15, 2022 before this Court and the same is taken on record.

The act of harassment claimed by the petitioner in his letter dated June 23, 2022, is sought to be explained.

Without going into the said explanation, this Court directs the Inspector-in-Charge, Baranagar Police Station, Barrackpore Police Commissionerate to exercise more caution in the process of investigating into any complaint. In respect of the complaint against the petitioner on May 22, 2022, it is submitted that the same has

resulted in a discharge of the petitioner. the private respondent has also been investigated and this has resulted in a charge sheet inter alia under the POCSO Act.

In view of the report of the Baranagar Police Station and the submissions made by the parties, this Court is of the view that nothing further needs to be decided in the matter.

Hence, the writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
