1. The petitioner's grievance that her water connection has been seriously affected, stems from the act of omission and/or commission of the respondent no. 1, a private body, without any element of public duty attached to it.

2. The petitioner has a remedy under Section 102 of the West Bengal Cooperative Societies Act, 2006.

3. In view of the afore-stated that the petitioner has an alternative and efficacious remedy and the dispute is between private individuals, this writ-petition cannot be entertained.

4. WPA 16602 of 2025 is accordingly dismissed. No order as to costs.
