1. Learned senior counsel representing the State Legal Services Authority has produced the written instruction dated 24th September, 2025 by the Member Secretary, SLSA

clearly mentioning that SLSA is agreeable to absorb the writ petitioner, Sri Ardhendu Shekhar Mondal as the third Deputy Legal Aid Defence Counsel for the district of Birbhum. The aforesaid proposal has the approval of the Hon'ble Executive Chairman, SLSA. Let a copy of the instruction be forwarded to the learned advocate representing the petitioner.

2. As SLSA is agreeable to absorb the petitioner, let all consequential steps be taken by SLSA at the earliest.

3. Be it recorded that the service of the private respondents is not interfered with either by the Court of by the authority.

4. In view of the stand taken by SLSA, grievance of the petitioner appears to have been redressed.

5. The writ petition, accordingly, stands disposed of.

6. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
