1. Report in the form of affidavit has been filed by the respondent nos. 1 & 2.

2. Learned advocate representing the private respondents relies upon an order dated 11th July, 2024 passed by the learned Civil Judge (Junior Division), 1st Court, Uluberia in Title Suit No. 349 of 2024 filed by the private respondents against the petitioner.

3. It appears that the passage through which the petitioner seeks electricity connection is the subject matter of dispute in the said title suit. The learned Trial Court has passed order directing both the parties to maintain status quo in respect of possession, nature and character of the scheduled property.

4. As it appears that, there is a dispute with regard to the title of the land over which the electricity connection has been sought for and the dispute in question is pending adjudication before the learned Civil Judge, accordingly, it will be open for the petitioner to approach the learned civil Court seeking remedy.

5. The writ petition stands disposed of.

6. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of requisite formalities.
