CRR 2258 of 2012 g.b.
28.09.2021 Court No.34 In Re: - An application under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure;
And In Re: - Kamal Kar Petitioner Mr. Jayanta Narayan Chatterjee Miss R. Banerjee .....For the Petitioner Mr. Arijit Ganguly Ms. Manisha Sharma ........For the State The revisional application was preferred for quashing of the proceeding being G. R. No. 3322 of 2008 pending before the learned Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Calcutta arising out of Bowbazar Police Station Case No. 480 of 2008 dated 11.12.2008. Learned advocate for the State submits a report of the Sub-Inspector of Police, Spl. Cell (GS/DD), which is kept with the record.
The report reflects that after completion of trial the accused person has been acquitted from the case on 23.09.2016. In view of the contention in the report, I am of the view that the revisional application has become infructuous. Accordingly, CRR 2258 of 2012 is dismissed.
Pending applications, if any, consequentially stand disposed of.
Interim order, if any, is hereby vacated.
