Heard the learned Advocates appearing for the parties. Petitioners are in custody for about 251 days. It is submitted there is no direct evidence connecting them with the murder.

Learned Advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

We have considered the materials on record. Statements of witnesses show petitioner was last seen with the victim who was subsequently murdered. Incriminating articles were also recovered from the possession of the petitioners. In view of the aforesaid materials on record and gravity of offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioners is rejected at this stage.
