Petitioner has lodged an information with Kasba Police Station dated 22.05.2024 regarding her grievance. State has submitted a report which reflects that although the information was furnished to Kasba Police Station but no written information was available with Garfa Police Station. However, after receiving the information the Officer concerned tried to establish contact with the writ petitioner and an email was sent to the writ petitioner requesting him to contact Garfa Police Station. However, the petitioner did not turn up. Consequently, G.D. Entry nos. 205 & 206 dated 03.04.2024 have been recorded in the said police station. In view of the police having no scope to act on the information, I direct the petitioner would meet the Officer-

in-Charge who will depute an officer of his choice. It would be the discretion of the police authorities after receiving the information as how to act in accordance with law.

Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that within a week from date petitioner would report to the concerned police station.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 16755 of 2024 is disposed of.

Report so submitted by the State be kept with the record.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
