The writ application has been preferred praying for direction upon the Certificate Officer to dispose of the certificate proceedings arising out of Gratuity Case No. G-22/2022 pending before the Certificate Officer, Howrah expeditiously.

It appears that the Controlling Authority in the present case passed an order on 09.04.2024 and notice for payment was issued by the Certificate Officer on several dates being 08.04.2025, 22.05.2025 & 11.06.2025.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the private respondents company that they shall appear before the Certificate Officer on the next date without any delay.

It appears that the conduct of the private respondent company is to delay the certificate proceedings.

Accordingly, the private respondent company herein being the respondent no. 5 is directed to appear before the Certificate Officer on 12th August, 2025 at 11 a.m. in the office of the Certificate Officer, Howrah.

The petitioner shall also be present at the same time on the same day.

The Certificate Officer shall proceed to dispose of the case expeditiously.

The writ application stands disposed of.

Applications, if any, connected thereto stand disposed of consequently.

Interim order, if any, stands vacated.

Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on priority basis upon compliance of all formalities.
