Petitioner has filed this writ petition making prayer for relief by way of a direction upon the respondent Electricity authority concerned to provide him the electricity connection.

Considering the facts and circumstances of this case and submission of the parties this writ petition being WPA 15855 of 2023 is disposed of by directing the Electricity authority concerned to consider the application in question filed by the petitioner for electricity connection in accordance with law and if petitioner complies with all the legal formalities required under the law for getting electricity connection in that event the respondent authority concerned will provide electricity

connection to the petitioner at the premises in question by following due process of law and if the respondent electricity authority after taking a decision that petitioner is entitled to get electricity connection subject to fulfillment of all the conditions and faces any obstruction from any person they will be free to take police assistance at the cost of the petitioner. The whole exercise must be completed by the authority within eight weeks from the date of communication of this order.
