The petitioner complains that the private respondents, who are in possession of certain lands for a very long time, have obtained title to the said property by forgery. The private respondents have resisted the petitioner on many occasions and several complaints have been lodged since 2020.

It is further submitted that the proceedings instituted by the petitioner before the LRTT has also been dismissed.

The parties shall ensure that there is absolutely no breach of peace in the area. The Officerin-Charge, English Bazar Police Station shall keep a strict vigil thereat. The petitioner shall not go into the said property and shall establish claims in accordance with law. Complaints, if any, lodged by the petitioner be investigated by the police in accordance with law. With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
