At the time of hearing Mr. Chatterjee, learned Advocate appearing on behalf of the alleged contemnors has filed a photocopy of the order dated 18.08.2025 as passed by the Assistant Engineer, Sonamukhi SubDivision, Public Works Directorate who is the alleged contemnor herein. It is submitted by Mr. Chatterjee that in view of the passing of the reasoned order dated 18.08.2025 the instant contempt application has practically become infructuous.

Ms. Dhabal, learned Advocate appearing on behalf of the writ petition submits before this Court that the reasoned order has been passed by the alleged contemnor.

In view of such, contempt proceeding is dropped and CPAN 1226 of 2025 is disposed of.
