Chakraborty .......For the Petitioner Mr. Soumyajit Bhatta .....For the Contemnor Learned advocate representing the contemnor places on record the notice under Section 218 (1) of the West Bengal Municipal Act, 1993 dated 7th August, 2024.

It appears that unauthorized construction has already been detected and notice given to remove the said unauthorized construction.

On issuance of the notice the order passed by the Court appears to have been substantially complied with.

In view of the above, there is no requirement of proceeding with the contempt application any further. The contempt application stands disposed of.

It will be open for the parties to approach the competent forum for further relief, if so advised. Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
