Patra Ms. Supriya Dubey .....For the WBCSSC The learned advocate representing the petitioner submits that the petitioner participated in the 1st State Level Selection Test, 2016 (XI-XII) and has prayed for consideration of his candidature for being appointed as assistant teacher in Higher Secondary Section in a Government aided school.

However, the learned advocates representing the petitioner and the Commission have jointly submitted that the entire selection process relating to 1st State Level Selection Test, 2016 for classes IX, X, XI and XII has been set aside by the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court and the issue is pending before the Hon'ble Supreme Court. In view of pendency of issue before the Hon'ble Supreme Court, no relief can be granted to the petitioner. Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed. However, this order shall not preclude the petitioner to take steps in accordance with law, if situation so arises in future.
