IN THE HIGH COURT AT CALCUTTA

CIVIL REVISIONAL JURISDICTION APPELLATE SIDE CO 2205 of 2023 Prasanta Paul Vs.

Smt. Indrani Paul (Dey) Mrs. Manaswita Mukherjee ... For the petitioner 1.

This revisional application has been filed with a prayer for early disposal of MAT Suit No.39 of 2021 pending before the learned Additional District Judge, 5th Court, Barasat, North 24-Parganas.

2.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that the MAT suit was initially filed in the year 2018 and from then on the same is pending before the learned Additional District Judge, 5th Court, Barasat. It is also submitted that the suit is pending for evidence.

3.

In these circumstances, I do not find any reason to ask the petitioner to serve notice upon the opposite party. Thus, service of notice upon the opposite party stands dispensed with.

4.

Accordingly, the learned Additional District Judge, 5th Court, Barasat, North 24-Parganas, is requested to dispose of the MAT Suit No.39 of 2021 as expeditiously as possible, without granting any unnecessary

adjournment to any of the parties to the MAT suit unless any unavoidable situation demands.

5.

With the aforesaid observation, the revisional application, being CO 2205 of 2023, stands disposed of. 6.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner is at liberty to bring this order to the notice of the learned Additional District Judge, 5th Court, Barasat, North 24-Parganas, forthwith.

7.

All parties shall act on the basis of a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

8.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon compliance of necessary formalities.
