1. The petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction on the part of the respondent authorities in considering the representation filed for removal of the electric high tension line by the West Bengal State Electricity Transmission Company Limited or alternatively to pay compensation for account of damage caused to his land.
2. As it appears that the representation is pending consideration for a considerable period of time, accordingly, without entering into the merit of the same, at this stage, the instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the Director (Projects), West Bengal State Electricity Transmission Company
Limited, being the respondent no. 4 herein to decide the representation in accordance with law after giving reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and all other necessary parties and pass a reasoned order at the earliest but positively within a period of twelve weeks from the date of communication of this order.
3. Exception of the petitioner to the report filed by the respondents be retained with the records.
4. Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
