Learned counsel for the private opposite party submits that the private opposite party is happily married with the 1st petitioner and is living a peaceful life together. She does not intend to proceed with the matter any further.

This Court is inclined to hold that continuation of the proceeding shall only be a futile exercise.

In view of the above, CRR 2683 of 2024 and connected application are allowed.

Proceedings of G.R. case no. 1523 of 2024 pending before the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Ranaghat, Nadia is quashed.

The petitioners be set at liberty at once and discharged from their bail bonds.
