The petitioner complains that Sutahata Police Station has not taken steps despite complaint dated 23rd June 2022.

A plain reading of the complain indicates that the dispute is purely civil and private in nature between brothers and civil suit has been filed being TS No.160 of 2014 before the Civil Judge (Junior Division), Haldia, Purba Medinipur.

In view of the above, this Court is of the view that the Officer-in-Charge, Sutahata Police Station has rightly not entered into the disputes between the parties.

However, the petitioner and the private respondents shall ensure that there is no breach of peace in and around the property. The Sutahata Police Station shall keep a vigil at the locale. With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
