Heard the learned Advocates appearing for the parties. It is submitted petitioner is suffering from neurological diseases. He is in custody for about 105 days. He prays for bail.

Learned Advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

We have considered the materials on record. Statement of the victim lady shows petitioner had set her on fire with the intention to kill her. Medical documents support her statement.

In view of the aforesaid incriminating materials on record and gravity of offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected at this stage.
