Report submitted by Inspector-in-Charge, Budge Budge Police Station reflects that information has been received from Assistant Director & Block Land & Land Reforms Officer, Budge Budge-I, South 24-Parganas. The said report is enclosed along with the report submitted by the Inspector-in-Charge.

Petitioner has approached this Court for effective investigation in connection with Budge Budge P.S. Case No. 05 of 2024 dated 08.01.2024 and for taking the investigation to a conclusion since the police authorities were not proceeding and/or progressing with the said investigation. Since the documents are available presently with the police authorities and prima facie, it reflects that the documents are in their custody, I direct that a superior officer of the police in the rank of Additional S.P. would scrutinize the

progress of the investigation in each and every month and before submission of the report under Section 193 of BNSS endorse his approval in respect of the report to be submitted before the jurisdictional court.

A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner. With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 16814 of 2024 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
