1. Report is placed on record. Explanation offered by the Inspector-incharge, Sonarpur Police Station is accepted.

2. Victim has already been examined.

3. We have considered the evidence of the victim. Her deposition shows she was kidnapped and de-capacitated by putting a handkerchief on her mouth and then taken to a different State for sexual exploitation. In view of gravity of the offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

4. The application for bail is thus rejected.

5. Trial court is directed to conclude the trial at an early date preferably within one year from the next date fixed for recording evidence without granting unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.

6. Parties shall communicate a copy of this order to the trial court for due compliance.
