Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer. I have considered the material on record.

Witness action has commenced. Though some of the witnesses became hostile, the wife of the victim has spoken in tune with her statement recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. There appears to be a property dispute between the victim and the petitioner and in an altercation between two the petitioner shot the victim resulting in his death.

Considering the gravity of the offence and prima facie involvement of the petitioner therein, prayer for bail is rejected.

The application for bail is disposed of.
