Petitioner approached this Court being aggrieved 07.08.2025 Court No. 35 M/L. No.748 Rakib of the inaction of the police authorities as petitioner apprehends that he may be thrown out of the property, as the private respondents are adamant for changing the nature and character of the land. To that effect not only complaints were advanced to police authorities but similar issues were raised before the B.L. & L.R.O., Bongaon.

Learned advocate for the State submits that the police at the relevant point of time have taken appropriate steps. The dispute is private in nature between the petitioner and the private respondents. As such there was restricted, interference by the police authorities. Having considered the plea taken in the writ petition as also information which was furnished, I am of the opinion that police authorities will only interfere if there is any violation of law and order.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 16826 of 2024 is disposed of.
