Halim Ansari @ Hanim Ansari v. The State Of West Bengal
AD 42 August 7, 2025 Ct. 28 SG CRM(A) 2479 of 2025 Reject An application for anticipatory bail under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 in connection with Raiganj P.S. Case No.805 of 2021 dated 17.09.2021 under Sections 447/324/326/307/302/34 of the IPC, 1860. And In the matter of:
Halim Ansari @ Hanim Ansari ... petitioner Mr. Kunal Ganguly ... for the petitioner Mr. Sandip Chakraborty Ms. Ayana Dey ... for the State Mr. Nirupam Dhali ... for the de facto complainant Heard learned counsels for the parties.
Considering the incriminating materials available in the case diary, including the statements of the witnesses and the fact that a proclamation has been issued against the present petitioner, I do not consider this to be a fit case for granting anticipatory bail.
The application for anticipatory bail is, thus, rejected. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of requisite formalities.
