Learned advocate for the State submits that 758 gm of brown sugar were recovered from the exclusive possession of the petitioner and prosecution is exerting all efforts to complete the trial.

Having regard to the quantity seized, I am of the view the Section 37 of the NDPS Act is attracted. Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is Rejected.

State is directed to expedite the progress of the trial and take the same to its logical conclusion.

Accordingly, CRM (NDPS) 888 of 2025 is dismissed. Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of. Parties to act on a server copy of this order duly collected from the official website of the Hon'ble High Court, Calcutta.
