From the records of the case it reveals that 758 gms of brown sugar was seized. Petitioners were arrested at the time of seizure and are in custody. The investigation of the case has already been concluded and chargesheet has been submitted before the learned Special Court. However, there has been no progress in the case.

Learned advocate appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that commercial quantity of contraband has been seized.

Petitioners are deeply connected with the alleged offence and, as such, the petitioners should not be released on bail.

I have taken into account the materials available in the case diary and I am of the opinion that the rigors of Section 37 of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 is attracted.

Consequently, CRM(NDPS) 894 of 2025 is dismissed. 5.

All parties shall act on the basis of server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. 6.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all necessary formalities.
