The Officer-in-charge, Domjur Police Station, Howrah has filed a report in the form of instructions to Government Pleader, High Court, Calcutta dated 3rd February, 2022. The same is taken on record.

The son and daughter-in-law of the petitioner have left the house in compliance with this Court's order dated 28th January, 2022. The writ petitioner has come back into his house and has found certain rooms locked. This submission has been denied by the police.

Be that as it may, the writ petitioner is given liberty to break open all locks and/or remove any obstruction in his own house and live there peacefully. The Officer-in-charge, Domjur Police Station, Howrah shall ensure that there is no breach of peace in the area.

In that view of the matter, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
