Case No.65 of 2025 dated 01.04.2025 under Sections 316(2)/318(4) of the BNS, 2023. And In the matter of:

APP Mr. Dipankar Paramanick ... for the State Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the only allegation against the petitioner and the other accused is that the de facto complainant invested a sum of money in their project, but did not get the returns. Anticipatory bail may be granted on any condition.

Learned counsel for the State relies on the case diary, strongly opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail and submits that the modus operandi was that the accused to take the money for purchasing the land and for developing. While a sum was paid to the owner of land and the land was purchased, the development money used to be usurped by the accused. There is already a criminal case pending

against the present petitioner. There are statements of other victims, who were similarly duped.

Considering the nature of allegations and the incriminating materials available in the case diary, including the statements of the prime and other victims, I do not consider this to be a fit case for granting anticipatory bail. The application for anticipatory bail is, thus, rejected. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of requisite formalities.
