The learned advocate for the husband submits that he does not have any objection to the prayer for transfer of the suit, to a place convenient for both the parties.

It appears that the husband is residing at Saltlake and the petitioner/wife works at New Town. She travels to her workplace on a regular basis. Having heard the learned advocates for both the parties, this court finds as the wife is a working woman, it will be easier for her if the suit is transferred close to her place of work, so that she is able to attend court without difficulty.

The application stands disposed of with a direction upon the learned District Judge, North 24 Parganas to withdraw the Matrimonial Suit No.654 of 2023 from the court of the learned Additional District Judge, Fast Track 4th Court at Barasat and transfer the same to the court of the learned District Judge, South 24 Parganas. The learned District Judge, South Parganas shall assign the matrimonial suit to a competent court at Sealdah, upon receipt of the records. The learned transferee Judge, upon receipt of records, shall issue notices to the parties and proceed with the adjudication. The application stands disposed of accordingly. All the parties are directed to act on the basis of the server copy of the order.
