The petitioner has approached this Court being aggrieved by the investigation being carried out by the Lake police station.

The grievance of the petitioner relates to a representation made to the police authorities in the year 2023.

However, no information has been furnished before this Court in respect of the outcome of the investigation.

Having considered that, substantial time have passed in the meantime, the petitioner would be at liberty to approach

the concerned police authorities if the report under Section 173 Cr.P.C. has not been filed, and/or ventilate his grievance in the appropriate forum if the same is not barred by limitation.

Since none appears on behalf of the State, Mr. Siddhartha Ghosh, learned advocate, who ordinarily appears on behalf of the State, is directed to represent the State. His appearance may be regularized by the concerned authorities.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 15956 of 2023 is disposed of.
