Mr. Biswajit Hazra Mr. Archisman Sain .......For the Petitioner Mr. Pratip Kumar Chatterjee .....For the Contemnor From the affidavit of compliance filed by the contemnor, it appears that the Board of Councillors, Kandi Municipality has already taken a decision and directed the person responsible for making the unauthorized construction to demolish the deviated portion.

The Municipality shall take necessary steps in furtherance to the notice for demolition.

The contempt application stands disposed of.

It will be open for the parties to approach the competent forum for further relief, if so advised. Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
