It appears that the present petitioner and another had filed a criminal revisional application being CRR 1790 of 2024 challenging the criminal proceedings registered as GR Case No. 2210 of 2023 which was instituted before the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Purulia. That application has been allowed by a learned Judge of this Court by quashing the proceedings by an order dated July 5, 2024. In the said order, the learned Judge has observed, inter alia, as follows:- "This Court is informed that during pendency of the application the 1st petitioner has been arrested and is still in custody. The 1st petitioner is at liberty to pray

for his release before the learned trial court in terms of this order."

In view of the aforesaid, this bail application has become infructuous. The petitioner will be at liberty to place the aforesaid order dated July 5, 2024, before the learned Trial Court for obtaining his release.

CRM (DB) 2059 of 2024 is, thus, disposed of.
