Affidavit of service filed on behalf of the petitioner is taken on record.

Matter relates to transfer of the petitioner based on an application made on Utsashree portal on 5th September, 2022. Ultimately the transfer application of the petitioner was decided by the Secretary, West Bengal Central School Service Commission vide memo dated 19th/20th February, 2025.

In the memo dated 19th/20th February, 2025 it was

decided by the Secretary for the Commission that in first preferred school as per transfer application of the petitioner dated 5th September, 2022 petitioner stood fifth whereas in other two schools transfer of the petitioner was not found to be feasible due to poor Pupil-Teacher Ratio.

Respondents are represented by learned advocates. 5.

Submission is made by the learned advocate representing the petitioner that further opportunity needs to be given to prefer other vacancies for consideration of his transfer application.

However, on perusal of memo dated 19th/20th February, 2025 issued by the Secretary of the Commission it is found that by taking decision on transfer application dated 5th September, 2022 process which was required to be initiated in connection with said transfer application came to an end.

The said transfer application dated 5th September, 2022 need not be revived due to decision taken as contained in said memo dated 19th/20th February, 2025.

Hence, no relief can be granted to the petitioner and writ petition stands dismissed.

However, this order shall not preclude the petitioner to apply for transfer in accordance with

law afresh.

10. However, there shall be no order as to costs.

11. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on usual undertaking.
