Since the petitioner seeks expeditious consideration of her application for issuance of no objection certificate by the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sealdah, South 24 Parganas, the matter may be disposed of without service of notice upon the opposite parties.

The petitioner is an accused in G.R. case no. 191 of 2023 pending before the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sealdah, South 24 Parganas wherein charge sheet has been submitted under Sections 323/324/506/509 and 114 of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioner holds a passport and intends to visit U.S. for which she filed an application before the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sealdah, for issuance of no objection certificate in view of the criminal case pending against her. The put up application sought to be submitted by the petitioner in this regard was not accepted by the learned Magistrate at all. The petitioner has also obtained a certificate from the Joint Commissioner of Police (MOD), Kolkata and the State Public Information Officer, Kolkata Police to the effect that besides the present case no other case is pending against her.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the visa interview has been scheduled on 15th July, 2024. In view of the above, learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sealdah, South 24 Parganas is directed to accept the put up petition sought to be submitted by the petitioner and consider and dispose of the application filed by the petitioner within two weeks from date, in accordance with law. With the aforesaid directions, the application, being CRR 2705 of 2024 is disposed of.
