For the State The petitioner filed the present habeas corpus petition since the police authorities did not take any step to recover his wife, namely, Rimpi, his minor son, namely, Chandan Prasad, his sister-in-law, namely, Sushama Sahoo and Sushama's minor son, namely, Soumodip Sahoo who went missing on and from 26th September, 2021.

When the matter was last taken up for hearing on 3rd August, 2022, Mr. Kabir, learned advocate appearing for the State submitted that Sushama Sahoo and her minor son, namely, Soumodip Sahoo had been recovered and that steps were being taken to recover the petitioner's wife, namely, Rimpi and the petitioner's minor son, namely Chandan Prasad.

Today, Mr. Kabir submits that the petitioner's wife, namely, Rimpi along with her minor son, namely, Chandan Prasad has already been recovered and they are presently residing with Rimpi's father, namely, Sushil

Kajli. The statement of Rimpi has already been recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. On the basis of the initial complaint lodged, the accused, namely, Khokan Ojha has also been arrested and is presently in custody. Let the report, as filed by Mr. Kabir, be kept on record.

The above facts have not been disputed by Mr. Ali, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner. As the missing persons have already been recovered, no further interference is called for in the present writ petition.

The writ petition being WPA (H) 44 of 2022 is, accordingly, disposed of.
