He submits that there is no progress in the case before the trial Court.

Learned lawyer for the State opposes the prayer for bail. We have considered the materials on record. The petitioner was seen at the place of occurrence, where the victim was murdered. Weapon of offence has also been seized. Under such circumstances and in view of the gravity of the offence, we are not inclined to entertain the bail application of the petitioner at present.

The prayer for bail is, thus, rejected.

However, we request the Trial Court to conduct the trial of the case and conclude the same at an early date, preferably within one year from the next date fixed before the Trial Court without granting unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties. (Joymalya Bagchi, J.) (Bivas Pattanayak, J.)
