JUDGMENT

(Judgment of the Court was delivered by T.S. SIVAGNANAM, C.J.)

1. The appellant, who is a physically challenged person submitted a representation for granting employment in the School Education Department. He is aggrieved that the communication from the School Education Department dated 9th December, 2019 was not furnished to him, during the hearing of the writ petition, copy of the same was furnished to the appellant.

2. The Court rightly noted the legal position that the appellant though physically challenged has to participate in a recruitment process. Furthermore, the Court has noted that the communication dated 9th December, 2019 clearly indicates that the employment to the School Education Department is based on the recommendation of the West Bengal School Service Commission after completion of procedure prescribed by law. Therefore, with the above observations, writ petition was disposed of.

3. We find no ground to interfere with the said order passed in the writ petition and accordingly, appeal stands dismissed.

4. No costs.
