1. Supplementary affidavit filed by the petitioner in Court today is taken on record.

2. Report in the form of affidavit filed on behalf of the respondent no. 3 is also taken on record.

3. It appears from the submissions made on behalf of the School that the child has been permitted to be accompanied by the shadow teacher in compliance of the directions passed by the Court.

4. Learned advocate representing the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education submits that the child may avail the provisions for engaging a scribe to write the answers, if required.

5. The child is due to appear for the Class-'X' Board Examinations in the year 2026. It will be open for the petitioner to avail the remedy provided in the Rights of Persons with Disability Act, 2016 for taking the

assistance of a scribe to write the answer sheet of the student.

6. The School will follow the notification which will be published by the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education in respect of the child with disability who will appear in the 2026 Madhyamik Examination in connection with the issue of taking assistance of scribe.

7. The petitioner is directed to provide a proper disability certificate for his son to the School authority at the earliest.

8. The School shall ensure that the child is not subjected to any type of physical examination at the time of entry in the School premises.

9. The writ petition stands disposed of.

10. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all the requisite formalities.
