1. The writ petition relates to a dispute regarding appointment in the post of Assistant Teacher of Science Group in Edrakpur High School.

2. The selection process to fill up the post was initiated in 2006. I am of the view that with the passage of time the writ petition has become infructuous. Consequently, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.

3. The interim order, if any, stands hereby vacated.
