1. Affidavit of service filed in Court today is taken on record.

2. The petitioner took voluntary retirement from service of Burn Standard Company Limited on 10th September, 2018. He seeks pension.

3. The application of the petitioner seeking pension is alleged to be kept pending before the Additional Central Provident Fund Commissioner.

4. Learned advocate representing the Provident Fund authority submits, upon instruction that, the department contacted the petitioner for production of necessary documents for the purpose of processing his claim for pension. The petitioner has not responded.

5. Upon hearing the submissions made on behalf of both the parties and upon perusal of the materials placed on record, it appears that there is no formal communication from the end of the respondent authority

with regard to the formalities that the petitioner is required to comply for getting pension.

6. The instant writ petition, accordingly, stands disposed of by directing the Regional Employees Provident Fund Officer, being the respondent no. 3 herein, to intimate the petitioner the formalities that he is required to comply for the purpose of release of his pension.

7. Steps shall be taken in the matter at the earliest but positively within a period of twelve weeks from the date of communication of this order.

8. An opportunity of hearing be provided to the petitioner for production of all documents in support of his claim.

9. The writ petition stands disposed of.

10. Parties to act on the basis of the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

11. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities. (Amrita Sinha, J.)
