The grievance of the petitioner is that certain irregularities are being perpetrated in the functioning of the Swami Vivekananda Narikalyan Sangha Prathamik Bahumukhi Samabay Samity Limited, whose portfolio holders have been impleaded as respondents to the present writ petition.

The petitioner, however, is not a member of the said society or in any way related directly to the society. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the member of one of the "Sangha"s, from the members of which the said society was formed. However, such fact, ipso facto, cannot confer locus standi on the petitioner to prefer the writ petition or to invoke the writ jurisdiction of this Court.

However, since several serious allegations have been made by the petitioner in the writ petition, it will be

open to the writ petitioner to file a Public Interest Litigation, if the petitioner so desires, subject to the maintainability of the same and the merits being considered by the appropriate Bench taking up such matters, if filed.

Accordingly, WPA 17195 of 2021 is dismissed without going into the merits of the contentions of the parties.

There will be no order as to costs.
