Petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction of the police 07.08.2025 Court No. 35 M/L. No.753 Rakib authorities as in spite of informing the Officer-in-Charge, Kolkata Leather Complex Police Station, no steps were taken.

State has submitted a report which reflects that Maheshtala Police Station case no. 91 dated 04.03.2024 was registered for investigation under the relevant provisions of I.P.C. and the S.C. & S.T. (POA) Act, 1989 as well as Dowry Prohibition Act. Report also reflects that on conclusion of investigation charge-sheet has been submitted under the relevant provisions of Indian Penal Code as well as the Special Act.

In case petitioner is aggrieved by the outcome of the investigation, petitioner would as such advance prayers before the jurisdictional Special Court in seisin of the issue.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 17043 of 2024 is disposed of.

Report so submitted by the State be kept with the record.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
