Heard the learned Advocates appearing for the parties. Petitioner is in custody for about 63 days. It is submitted he has been falsely implicated in the instant case. Learned Advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

We have considered the materials on record. Statements of witnesses disclose that the petitioner had subjected a four year old girl to penetrative sexual assault by inserting his finger in her genitalia.

In view of the aforesaid incriminating materials on record and the gravity of offence, this is not a fit case to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
