We have considered the materials on record. Minor victim has implicated the petitioner in the offence of penetrative sexual assault. She is in the process of being examined in the trial court. Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

The application for bail is, thus, rejected.

Trial court is requested to expedite the trial and conclude the same at an early date without granting unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.
