Heard the learned advocate for the petitioner. This revisional application is for an order directing expeditious disposal of C.R Case No.208 of 2019 under Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 now pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, 2nd Court at Chandannagar, Hooghly. The learned advocate for the petitioner draws attention to the order sheet of the learned Judicial Magistrate. The learned advocate for the petitioner submits that although the case is pending from 2018 and the charge has been framed but trial has not been commenced.

Upon perusing and considering the materials on record, this Court is of the view that no fruitful purpose will be served by keeping this application pending.

Accordingly, this revisional application being CRR 3073 of 2025 is disposed of with a request to the Judicial Magistrate 2nd Court at Chandannagar, Hooghly to dispose of C.R Case No.208 of 2019 expeditiously and preferably within a period of three months from the next date fixed without granting unnecessary adjournment.
